About Sounds Like Dre
DeAndre "Dre" Brannon is a Washington, DC-born, Charlotte-raised trombonist, percussionist, and vocalist known for his magnetic musicality and body-rocking cadences. With credits spanning Rick Ross' Port of Miami anniversary tour, The Renaissance Orchestra, and music director duties with acclaimed group, The Tams, Dre brings seasoned professionalism to every stage. Dre has worked alongside notable entertainers such as Zaytoven, Young Dro, Crime Mob, CeeLo Green, OJ Da Juiceman, and many more. When he's not performing, he's pouring into the next generation as a former school music teacher, drumline coach, and current instructor for Livingstone College's "Quiet Storm" marching band. Rooted in the belief that music is the universal language, Dre uses every note to connect, inspire, and tell a story.
